That’s why we offer clinical psychology courses at Swinburne.

Clinical psychology courses are an opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills needed to specialise in psychopathology, the study of mental and clinical disorders. This includes the assessment and treatment of clinical disorders, such as anxiety disorder, clinical depression, schizophrenia, eating disorders, personality disorders, trauma, alcohol dependence, childhood disorders and psychogeriatric conditions. You’ll also have the option of exploring clinical psychology in conjunction with forensic science: It’s just a matter of choosing the course that suits the future you can picture.

By the time you graduate, you’ll have the confidence and skills to apply your wisdom to the workplace as you will have completed an accreditation placement. As the program is designed to meet APAC accreditation most graduates expect to progress to careers in clinical psychology practice. Graduates can also choose to work in psychiatric hospital settings, community mental health centres, specialist services for particular clinical groups, education and more.
