Health Promotion

Promotion of healthy lifestyles improves the wellbeing of communities.

We believe prevention is better than cure, making the need to address contemporary health, social and environmental challenges increasingly important. That’s why we offer Health Promotion courses at Swinburne.

Health Promotion is an opportunity to gain the knowledge and skills needed to assist and improve the wellbeing of diverse groups and communities. You’ll develop research and data analysis skills, and gain a comprehensive understanding of health science, health promotion, Indigenous health, communication and leadership, allowing you to address local and global health issues.

By the time you graduate, you’ll have the confidence and skills to work with individuals, communities, organisations, and policy makers to enhance population health. Future careers can be found in a range of health-related environments, aged care and medical facilities.
