Secondary Teaching
Effective learning begins with an all-inclusive education.
We believe a secondary school teacher should offer innovative approaches to learning through a practical and methodical skillset. Our secondary teaching courses offer an all-inclusive education through general studies, teaching methods and professional experience.
Together, we explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning in a secondary school. We also place an emphasis on the social, ethical and professional expectations that technology brings to the classroom and learning.
On-the-job experience is a strong component of your secondary teaching studies. It’s our way of helping you develop the skillset to teach Years 7 to 12.

I chose Swinburne because of the great location and I stayed throughout a change in study direction due to the incredible lecturers and tutors. They constantly go above and beyond to provide assistance. I started in a digital media and marketing degree and changed to education/arts. In doing so I've found my true passion.
